How about trying out some paid reviews sites? I like the travel blog idea too. Take lot's of pictures and look for a niche that is unique for the cities/towns you will be visiting. Maybe find some unique music bands or review some hostels.
What kind of time frame are we talking? What type of traveling... as in traveling or getting out of where you're currently at?

Well, you want to travel and you want to make money. Have you ever thought of the airlines. my brother has worked for them for years and loves visiting all over the world although it can be a pain in the ars like any other job. As far as making money online, there are so many different directions you could take, but once you DO find something that interests you, STICK WITH IT, dont let anything else take your attention away, too many people make this mistake.
