    I really don't see a point to the site. You may want to just give up.

    You clearly need some traffic my friend.
    You could try:

    * Video marketing
    * Social Media
    * Classified Ads

    Also try building a list to market to.

    Try Twitter. I've used Twitter for a year or so now to drive traffic to a couple of my sites. It takes a while, and you have to ensure it's relevant traffic, but easy to do and free.

    I've managed various forums online through my internet career and I would say the biggest factor in terms of your success is making it active or at least look active. Nobody wants to come to a ghost forum and ask a question that no one is there to answer. The point of a forum is user interactivity and reaching out to those users to entice them to input and interact with the forum. Try holding contests of some sort to get some traffic going and work on the forum yourself by answering people's questions and commenting on the interesting things they post.

    You need a real subject. You need people to want to find your site and use it. Then you worry about getting them to find you.

    I'd do some SEO, put up quality content that is useful, keyword target your posts/titles. If your forum is helpful to the online community, I think it will take off over time.

    I just read some of the comments on your thread & I think submitting articles to Ezine is a good idea. There are zillions of things you can do for your site--it's mostly dependent on your budget and the time you want to invest in it.

    I see it's a forum website... if you really want to be successful, you need to invest a bit of money on advertising, otherwise it will take a long time and a lot of work.
