Hey guys, I decoded a themes footer and deleted some links (Please I'm not looking for an opinion on whether this is right or wrong. I have still kept the link to the developer just not the irrelevant insurance, loans and hosting links). Obviously this meant altering the functions.php file and since I've done that the admin panel has been blank. I've tried a few fixes such as removing extra php tags and also removing spaces from the top and bottom of the functions file (There werent any spaces anyway) to no avail. It's obviously functions.php related as that's the only change that has been made..any idea's? P.S Also the blog is working fine..just the admin that is blank. Thanks a bunch guys I really appreciate it
I'm not sure if the admin panel should be affected. Back up your theme and try again, probably some urls have been changed and this is the cause for the redirect.
I am assuming you are talking about the "white screen of death"? It is unlikely to be anything to do with the template functions.php file. The WSOD usually is something to do with plugins not working properly. In the past I have deleted a few recent plugins via FTP and that has done the trick.
I've attached my most recent functions.php file Thanks to imcoder for giving this a go but I am still getting the white screen of death on my admin panel. If anyone can find any other errors in the file that would be appreciated Thanks for the suggestions guys, I will try what you have suggested. It has only been playing up since i decoded the functions.php file though

are you using wp-cache plugin or something similar. i have seen using such plugins cause blank page error. Deactivate all plugins first and see if the site comes online. Anyways nice to see you fixed the problem
