Contest $30 Header / Logo for Real Estate Website

I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I really hope all the designers I have admired on other contest contribute and if more information is needed just let me know.

I need a header / logo for a real estate website. It should be 1013px wide and preferably between 150-170 hieght The colors should match or compliment the khaki scheme that is used on the navi and other borders. Prefer to stick with blue and reds but I am looking for creative ideas. Here is the site...

Really wide open on ideas whether it be some landscape or just the words and logo. One possibility is integrating the "MY" in the agents name to the "My" in the url...but maybe not? Just really do not want to see any stock photos of houses that do not look like the houses in North Texas or the same old house silhouette. Colors and font should be clean and sharp. The message on the current header should be included somewhere. But not the slogan "Customer Satisfaction is Paramount"

About the area for (creative ideas) Mainly works in the suburbs North of Dallas Texas, with a mix of both suburbs and farm and ranch (primarily houses in sub-divisions.) Hate the Dallas Cowboys, don't want to see any cows or steers or longhorn bulls. Hope all this helps.

Will require that the winner deliver the file be in a layered PSD file and Illustrator layered if available. So that this design can be used in printing purposes and unwanted / unneeded elements removed. Looking to use parts of this on t-shirts and business cards at a later date.

There is a possibility of a 2nd place prize as well.

Wow your fast. Thank you for your entry. Not what I had in mind colors look good. Not sure what that bird is doing in the middle there. Also not sure how that would looking at 1013px. don't need to emphasis COUNTY so much or the MY unless it is used with Myers somehow. Keep in mind the typical visitor to this site may not be too techie, and all the words together may look strange to them. Please keep trying and take your time plenty of time. But thanks again!

EDIT I prefer the 2nd one in colors. No need to over do the khaki that is already there.

Yeah I saw you on there, tried to chat you up but you must have pop-ups blocked. Figured that was what you were on there doing It does look decent, and I can fill that white space up with some buttons I am going to have the winner design hopefully.

Go a different direction the silhouettes or peaks or not working for me. I have seen a lot of your work so I know you can come up with something completely different. It is Denton County for everyone's future reference.

Not what I had in mind, the gold is not working for me on that large of text. A little too simple on the text as well. Lose the MY if it is not incorporated with the agents name. For some reason I am not hating your silhoutte, but not sure about the placement of the green thing...is that a tree? If you would like try again please.

Even though it is a silhouette the 2nd one is not bad. What is the height on your concept? can you get rid of the little "berries" or whatever is around the wreath? Something is missing though...too simple I think. Colors are decent but too simple.

 

A little better Misterbadz, but please follow my feedback.

1. Drop the "MY" if it is not incorporated with agents name. perhaps in a script font at an angle above Denton County Real Estate??
2. Put spaces between words even if you have to lower font size.
3. Color is too simple. and COUNTY should not be emphasised. and it is Denton NOT DentOn.
4. Try the tagline words in a smaller font, and colors similar to what I have on the current header.
4. I kind of like the logo. Try this: the roof not so steep perhaps. Put a little star or something up where Denton county is on the map perhaps. Other than that the logo is very nice.

Please follow this feedback, I have mentioned a few of these things before but understand we may have a language barrier and your not familiar with Texas

Too simple, too stock, too many silhouttes, too yellow. Thanks for entering though.

 

TO ALL:

1.Do not over do the gold/khaki color. I already have a lot of it on the site.
2.If you insist on doing a silhouette (ie outline of a house or roof) it needs to be an original, non-obtrusive)
3.A Real estate site ( at least in mind mind ) is more than just about houses. It is about sales, setting yourself apart from EVERY OTHER template or generic or 1 click generated stock real estate site. Visitors need to be able to remember the agents name, see the site is professional and unique.
