Just to let everyone know that does not know already Google has decided to add to a few more signals to its descision making on rankings. This comes from Online business owners actually creating negative press and forcing bad complaints from some of their customers to help increase there rankings in the Search. As we already know sparking popular online discussions, negative or not in the past about your website will still help your rankings. Creating negative press about your business can be a form of linkbait. This will all stop now and there are talks about one of the new changes being that positive reviews on a website will be actually taken in to consideration when helping Google decide where you should rank. Expect Reviews and Good Press to be a big factor in having your site listed high up in the search in 2011.

read the story at techcrunch ... not sure if that was the right way to approach the problem though; they'd need to make sure those negative comments aren't coming from top competitors
Yes i think so. because i read some of the news that google's software engineer working on some of the changes going to be done in month of December. you have to wait for that.
So, all you need to do to take down a competitor is do negative SEO against them? Wow! Isn't that a bit short-sighted? Not that I would ever do or recommend doing that, but there are freaks out there, ya know
Yeah, I heard about it too... thanks anyway, I did not have the original link. Read the article... it's not that. Negative SEO is unlikely to happen, at least not in the mentioned cases.
They will be doing most of the major changes at the first of the new year. They got in trouble last time they changed rankings too much before the holidays.
It would be interesting to know the new algo. But I didn't understand one thing in the news there is one point Google will punish bad merchant who are not good in customer support in Google's term what does it mean?? I mean how can Google decide does they provide good service or not?? Can anyone speak on it??
