Does Google crawl the url or hyperlink

    Hi All,
    My website default homepage should like this domainname.com/default.aspx , i'm building the back links to domainname.com. will i get any problem to my pagerank .?

    when you type domainname.com it redirects to domainname.com/default.aspx ? if so there is no reason to worry

    It is redirecting, you should be fine.

    According to Matt Cutts, you will lose some pr by doing a 301 redirect. It is better not to do a redirect if possible.

    Unless you have set the 301 redirect correctly, there shouldn't be a problem. However, why do you want to do it around when you can have it done straight? If i were you i would link to domainname.com/default.aspx itself.
