Will i really get PR9 backlinks from yotube video description?

Hello. I was wondering if i put my world of warcraft related link in my world of warcraft related youtube video, will i get a PR9 backlink? Or is the PR9 only for the youtube main page and not for my videos? I am kinda new at all this.

And another question. Can i get in trouble with youtube if i put those links in my videos?

Hello dude, youtube backlinks are nofollow links. So you will not get PR9 backlink from youtube. If you are using google chrome just download this extension and install it.

once installed please cleck the "show nofollow" checkbox.

You can see all the links in youtube surrounded by dotted rectangular box. It means they are nofollow

Youtube is still good for traffic... if you think Wow visitors will convert?

 

It is the PAGE PR that counts not the domains PR.
Most of the videos are PR0 and as they have many many internal links also the value is not worth anything from a PR point of view. On top of that external links are nofollow anyways.

 

PR 9 is only apply for the main domain, the inner page has another PR !

 

There will be hardly any video which has PR of 9 but if there is someone so it will term as no-follow attribute and only it can index it

I don't think it can help you get a PR that high, but I'm pretty sure you'll get traffic from youtube

PR 9 is for domain only your site will not gain single bit from that 9 PR as it is your inner page and nofollow link as well but I would say you will get lots of direct traffic from that link if your youtube video comes in some of top positions either in youtube or google on keyword like warcraft or warcraft I, warcraft II, warcraft games, warcraft videos, warcraft trailer or some other related keyword.

Well, i don't play WoW anymore so i can't make any new videos. Plus the ones that i have uploaded are nothing special and they don't get a lot of views. If you want to see them, my youtube name is the same as here GagLV.

Youtube comments typically end up on their own pages, at least the responses do.

YT gives both traffic as well as SEO benefits.

 

The page is NoFollow anyway.

True. Google even tells you it is ok to have multiple user accounts and channels on YouTube. Another option other than YouTube is setup a flicker and in the CC put your attribute there for a backlink.

 

firefox also has that feature its called search staus addon.

 

I am using a Firefox addon called NoDoFollow now. When i right click and select NoDoFollow, it just highlights DoFollow links blue and NoFollow links red.
