    BTW: jimnoble seems to be a decent DMOZ editor...Perhaps if there were more like him The Open Directory would be a better place.

    Jim is pretty good, the best one here on DP at least! Unlike a few of the other editors, he'll at least look into complaints & accusations. He was the ONLY one that looked into me complaining about the CNN dead links, many editors out right called me a liar, he actually bothered to not only look into the complaint but also FIXED it!

    They are already ignored by 99.99999% of the world.

    If you really want to kill DMOZ get google to stop crawling that pile of out dated trash.

    Sorry, Q, your memory fails you it was not Jim what did that.

    But I am personally very happy if people stop suggesting sites I would turn suggestions off but I lost that debate. You know I never, ever thought this would happen, but I agree absolutely with Fastreplies....
    Going Green, no point in complaining about lack of editors when you are not one, and if you have tried, how many times, and have you researched this forum for tips, or can you just not cut the mustard?

    Were it not for Anon's reply, I wouldn't have known about Q's strange claims about me and CNN. Sorry Q, but I played no part in that exercise AFAIR - certainly no significant one.

    Its easy to boycott since they don't answer emails anyway! They need more editors.

    Posts like this one reminding me story about Maintenance Man who
    washed floors next to group of Professors discussing scientific issues.

    @useakme45
    I think Neg. Rep will keep your conversation going just fine.

    I think its best to just forget about 'boycotting' dmoz and start doing something more productive with your time online :D

    "Man replied: nothing, I just wanna to keep conversation going."

    As you attempting to do apparently.

    "I think Neg. Rep will keep your conversation going just fine."

    It's not my conversation. I didn't start it, nor will I end it, just had a comment. If you don't like it, I couldn't care less.

    The more you will be busy in Boycott, the more your opponent will be happy thinking that you are busy for nothing.

    Forget the particle and issue completly. And that will be ultimate boycott, regardless what is the issue.
