    How much importance given for online optimization in SEO ? i think it would play a major role isn't it? anybody please clear my doubt..

    can really give it in measurable value. However, i can see it is same important as off-page SEO.
    You can get good SERP by only doing the on-page SEO if the keyword is not high competitive keyword

    Yes as mentioned above on-page optimization is a first step in SEO. You should have a unique content, your keywords should be placed appropriately and you want to have an eye on cannonical issues, URL formats, Heading tags and so on.

    On site SEO is the first step of SEO.after onsite SEO do offsite SEO.Both are important for a website.Website should have quality content with relevent keywords ,define title tag, meta tag and meta description etc.Use alt attributes for image. these are onsite seo techniques.

    Without optimized title tags, meta data, URLs and page copy, you are not going to be found in the search results.

    Please be sure to devote significant time to researching the keywords that you want to feature in your title tags and page content. There's more to do, of course. But if you work at including the best keywords, especially in the title tags, that's perhaps the single most important thing you can do, onpage SEO-wise.

    Onpage is a vital process for any website and generally done for prior to offpage(link building). Search engine will then decide what keyword your site will ranking on. Onpage is nothing but a proper way to tell search engine that what your site is about. Onpage not only includes keyword researching, competition analysis, title and meta data creation but whole analysis about site like how much time website takes to load on browser, what is size of images on site, navigation is easy or complex, is there any broken or dead link on website, sitemap page is given or not and so on.
