    Basically, you insert the Google Analytics javascript code into your web pages and every time your site and pages are visited data is sent back to Google's Analytics programme which then collects the data for you to use at your leisure.

    yes lever is right, you can generate Google Analytic java script code and copy pest into your website before closing </head> tag of the web page.Analytic cod help to track to the visitors...........

    it's a great tool that everyone should be using, make sure you have it on all your sites and understand it, so that you can see and track where your traffic is coming from and you can do more of that to get more traffic from those sources.
