Google doesn't update its PR since last 9 months. I think google has changed their algorithm and stopped PR Update. There won't any more PR for any websites. What do you think guys?
who knows. many of us are speculating over this for sure. it would be nice to see another update though.
PageRank can be easily stolen or faked by webmasters using frowned-upon techniques such as buying links or link-based advertisements from higher PR sites. Glad to see it demise.
It seems that way doesn't it? I haven't seen any changes for any of my sites or for clients either. It is a bit strange, because before they used to update it pretty regularly. I thought it was right around once a quarter.
Google PageRank Update Schedule – 2010 First PR Update 31st March – 30th April Second PR Update 31st June – 30th July Third PR Update 31st September – 30th October Fourth PR Update 31st December – 31st January 2011 Do note that the above Google PageRank schedule for 2010 is based on previous PR updates. Exactly my opinion on page rank who cares, all that matters is getting quality relevant traffic to your website by whatever means, search engines, referal from other sites ect. Page rank dont convert into sales (Well unless you sell links), but if your a business website who sells products or services all that matters is getting good quality traffic that converts into sales.
Normally Google updates PR in each 3-4 months but this time it is too late...hope we will see the next updation soon...
Well, if indeed a visible Page Rank is a thing of the past, then I hope they completely get rid of it. I think its silly if people are still judging sites on a visible page rank when this number is so completely outdated. Personally, I judge a site by it's position in the SERPS for the keywords it's vying for. I also judge a site by the number and quality of backlinks it has. I honestly believe that a visible page rank has now become obsolete.
@jasonvan you said it right bro, what matter is the traffic and it's position on the serps and not with how high the page rank it have, what we are measuring with websites is the amount of traffic it generates.
They said that they only do the update for sometime in a year. This year, they do two time. Maybe just delay to the end of this year for one more
It doesnt matter really..however all activities are based on it..so..its not a big deal...as OP said in above reply..Pr is just a number game..lol
