    Threads are closed and not deleted until they are against the posting guidelines. Also i think you may be getting an infraction for duplicate thread.

    I created the new thread but couldn't find option to delete the old one.
    I though thread starter has the right to delete a thread.

    No rights are given to thread authors to delete their own threads. The only circumstances a thread will be deleted is if they break the forum rules. If you create a duplicate thread even with the intention to delete your old thread you will be infracted for duplicate threads.

    The proper response in a situation where you forget to add something to a thread is to make a bad post report on the thread and request a thread edit.

    Thread duplication is a form of spam. Counting thread merges, I see seven threads you have made trying to get rid of of your Doteasy hosting.
