I've had wordpress for about a month now on two domains and now that it is easy to navigate my way thru the admin area I want to take everything a step further....perhaps installing a few plugins I've been reading about. The SEO plugin and the automated content plugin. I will be using free plugins only. I've heard that automated content plugin is somewhat black hat and I don't know if I am ethically ok with that. So my questions are: 1.What are some really great wordpress plugins that are free for automated content and SEO. 2. Is automated content blackhat? 3. Is there any other plugins that I should add as well as the two mentioned? Thanks in advance
Also have look at this one http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/. It links to other posts that relates to each other.
I looked at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yet-another-related-posts-plugin/ and I'm not sure if I understand what it does exactly and how my blog can benefit from it. I only read the info on that URL.....let me try to google more info on it or if you could explain it in laymans terms for better understanding.
Here are my suggestions: 1.What are some really great wordpress plugins that are free for automated content and SEO. - I haven't seen auto content plugins for wordpress but I'm sure they are out there. If you do happen to use a auto content poster. Don't rely on your site getting ranked well. If rankings are what your looking for make sure you mix up the auto content with original content. 2. Is automated content blackhat? - I wouldn't say it's black hat but it is a lazy way out if you only are going to use auto content. You get what you put into your business. 3. Is there any other plugins that I should add as well as the two mentioned? - All in one SEO - Related posts - Analytics Hope this helps.
Hi, I recently wrote a post on the plugins that I chose to use: 22 Best Must Have WordPress 3 Plugins I mostly concentrate on security, administration, usability, and SEO. I explain why I chose each of these plugins. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Rich
Get SEO pressor and one called Search Term Taggin 2 (I think).... and maybe one called wordpres stats.
Thanks. I put a lot of research and thought in putting together this list. A new blogger has to weigh the performance cost of plugins vs. the increase in security and usability.
All in one SEO works, but there are many other plugins that slower the performance of a WordPress blog if they are not well-optimized. So do not just install plugins, but use the services of someone who can make them to run without taking too much of your server resources.
It basicly creates links to your other posts from a blog post. You get list of related post (that are from the same blog) at the end of eac blog post. This will help for internal link building as pages link to each other (Very important part of SEO
Hi, The plugin will create links in one post that are closely related to another post. For example, I have a very structured tag environment (basically subcategories) in order to relate different posts. The related post plugin will use these tags to create links. It is important because one of the key metrics that Google is using nowadays when it ranks pages and sites is "visitor time on site". The more time a user spends on the site, the better it looks to the Google Search Engine. So a user who is following one post to another will be spending more time on your site and it will look better when it comes to ranking for SERP. Of course, if you are advertising, the more time a visitor spends on a site, the more likely that they might click on one of your ads. Hope this helps, Rich
I will share with you a great list of most important wordpress plugins: http://www.flamescorpion.com/2010/03/plugins-that-you-must-use-for-any-blog/
This is great. This is my first time using wordpress. I installed it on 3 websites. I have some high PR websites and hoping linking these to the new blogs will help
Link them only if they are relevant. In-content links are great. Automated posting can work, but original content is the king. Unless you can drive a lot of traffic to your website, automated content won't help.
