Supplement Results

Well whatever is going on, I know I have close to 5,000 pages of unique content and all but 1 page says sup. I agree to just sit and wait for the update to finish, but then again... who knows for sure but Google...

 

Believe me this has happend many times before. Google updates are supposed to rock everything. Those who are innocent of spamming are worried and those who have spammed are even more worried

 

Supplemental does not mean, DUPLICATE content...

I really would not worry about it.

 

Well, I got a lot of pages in the supplemental because I had default keywords and descriptions for all of them... I have pages in supplemental from March.

 

That is not what gets you in supplemental. In fact, there is nothing magic that gets you into supplemental results.

 

All current index from my site is GONE,Old-nonexistent SERPS are back as supplements.
I just cant understand how G updates.anyone here who says there is nothing wrong with Google must be G's employee.

 

I think no-one really knows how you end up in the supplemental anymore...it USED to be various things like dupe content, same meta description/ titles etc...

One thing's for sure, loads of sites have the same issues here, so i for one feel slightly better...(i'm gonna regret saying that...lol)

 

Notorious, got the same problem,with our site.
All our old pages are back now in supplemental (the funny thing is, The url remains the same even now with new, updated content, but i see the march cached page)

 

I see weird shit going on still. My pages are.. not supplemental anymore but it's like old and well only 14 thousand compared to 50. So, meh.

Some of my sites are out of supplemental on checking today, others not... this is using my local google datacentre, whichever it is.

 

Well as I posted yesterday saying that all my pages were Sup, guess what... today they are not... I think Google reads DP and loves to screw with us... And tomorrow.. all our pagesss will be Sup again...

Same here for many sites. If only google explains why they do this and how it can be avoided.

You are one who seems to understand...arguing with some here will do little but to reaffirm that you should never argue with a fool.

I have said many of the same things as yourself...especially no update has moved a client.

Never did any reciprocal link building those are worthless

I vote for you.... you vote for me 1 + 1 = 0 in this case. Relevant or not. It is like opposing penalties in football (US) they cancel each other out.

Also reciprocal link building is artifical. Years ago when the net was new and websites were few webmasters built one way links to other websites because they liked them....that is the natural method and still works best today.

so many people do not realize how badly link building hurts them....it's sad.

I have quite a few sites ranked on Google # 1 or #2 ...50,000,000 to 100,000,000 competing pages, for 2 and 3 years continually ...they never drop.

The only thing I do differently than many others SEOs,,,,is what I don't do, and that is, I do not participate in anything but one way link building.

SEO skill is not hard. Anyone can learn it. So then there are some issues which make a difference between SEO A and SEO B. and this is where the degree of success changes. Many will follow the pack and remain moderate to average....

and others will make their own path, learn for themselves, and not let jealousy and hatred from others deter them from implementing what they have learned... and enjoying above average results.

You cant say Reciprocal linking does not help. It helps the bots in identifying related sites to yours quickly.,

 

Sem-Advance has no idea what he's talking about, sarathy. There are so many errors and flaws in his post up there that I don't even know where to start. He's just wrong, plain and simple.

 

I most certainly can, as a relevant one way link from another relevant site will do the same thing for the spider bots, and since its one way it will have a higher scoring.

In fact a PR7 link will have the spiders on the site usually within 48 hours for indexing.

Also shows you why menstrual couldnt cut it as a quack or an seo
