Contest Banner Contest - $25 Instant PayPal Payment

I need a banner that is hip and cool - it is for a crowd of 20 year old college kids. The banner will advertise Replay AV software. Here is the URL: http://www.applian.com/replay-av/

Replay AV is software that allows people to record streaming music off the internet, schedule recording of their favorite radio shows, and convert audio and video in one step. There is a free demo available that we should mention on the banner.

Real AV has some free banners but I do not like any of them as they are too basic and static. Here is a link where you can see their banners.

The color scheme is good as it draws your eye to the banner but they need better graphics and some animation, which is why I think a Flash banner is best.


The banner size I need is 160 x 600.

For text on the banner here is what I want:

We do not need the AV logo they have on their banners on our banner. I am looking for something more along the lines of the logo they have of the person with headphones on that you will see on these banners: http://www.applian.com/ads/banners-RM.php

Also maybe you can add an equalizer or something to make the banner graphically interesting.

This contest is for 48 hours, however, I may end it at anytime if a great design comes in. I will pay the winner instantly via PayPal.

 

How about .GIF banner? and when is the deadline?

@Sinuville - Great entry. I like what you have started with here. My revision suggestions would be that the text should begin to scroll in a bit sooner than it does now. Also, the text should be larger and take up more room on the banner. It does not need to be horizontal text, you can have the text look more interesting, drop down from the top sometimes, be on an angle, etc. Also the face with headphones at the bottom should have some eyes / mouth, etc. to show that it is a human

@Sinuville - Well done - I have 2 small requests, at which point you may then be the winner. When the text that scrolls in says Stream it, Record It, Save It, please have some background to these words so that they are easier to see. Also, the download button at the end is a great touch but I can hardly see the word download as it is the same color as the button. Please make the word download in green. Thanks and great work!
