How can I improve my Website SEO (Search Engine Optimization)?

My website is near about 4407234 in Alexa ranking..and the ranking is going down daily… How can i improve it??…Please if somebody suggest me something regarding this…..Thank you for this.

 

Why do you club alexa ranking and SEO??? Alexa rank should go down right? The lesser the number, the more trafficked (supposedly) your site is

Alexa rank calculates according to the visitors and traffic of your website. And when your Alexa ranking is low it shows that your website doesn't has a lot of traffic and you should try to drive more traffic to it. You can do it by using PPC advertising networks as Adwords but if you want to increase your traffic for free, you should do optimizations ( on-page and off-page) for your website as other members said. Also you can join social networks as Facebook and Twitter and try to find more friends and followers for your website, then you can have traffic from these social networks too.

Alexa rankings are entirely inaccurate. My least popular site ranks the best. My most popular site ranks the worst. Just keep building links and install google analytics. That should tell you what you want to know.
