My new site banned?

I built a new site and started to build links for it. Its homepage and some pages of the site (it's a blog) were indexed in Google and had a ranking for my keywords.

The site is only 1 week old, but I've already built quite a lot of backlinks.

My question is: Can my site be banned if the homepage www.examplesite.com isn't indexed in Google, while the pages of my site (e.g. www.examplesite.com/page1) still are indexed in Google? When I search Google for the homepage of my site www.examplesite.com it only shows some pages of my site, not the homepage.

If my site would be banned, there wouldn't be any pages of it on Google or not?

But the homepage already was indexed and ranked for my keywords for 2 days. And now it disappeared, only some pages of the site are indexed and ranked. Has my site been banned?

you are bound to see some google dance when a site's new
I'd continue building content/links to it ... have a look at the listings after 2 weeks

The problem is the homepage URL was indexed and now it disappeared. Google dance is a change in the SERP of an indexed site, isn't it?

Leave your beloved site alone, websites are like girlfriends or wives, sometimes you have to leave them alone and give them some breathing time :) it will be ok dude. Do something else in the meanwhile.. watch a movie or

There is no such problem as you are thinking buddy, you should give some time and continue working on building backlinks. In addition you have to update your content regularly and do some marketing work to improve the traffic.:)
