Multiple Store Fronts with Magento and impliactions for Duplicate Content

    I would like to run two sites selling the same products at different prices points. As Magento allow you to administer multiple sites from one back office then it would seem best choice. However my Q is just how likely is Google to penalise one of my sites if they share 6,000 item codes?? Does Magento do anything to prevent this?

    as long as you have different domains you should be fine. i heard that google doesn't much like affiliate sites and if your 2nd store shares the images then it will look like an affiliate site to the spiders. theres no way of verifying this tho.
