    i only have access to my server through SSH (and IP not domain name)
    how can i download files through ssh/putty?

    you can use SFTP and use something like filezilla or winscp and upload/download using that. (just login as the root/user)

    i use webdrive to mount a remote ssh login to a windows drive letter. free trial, works great for me.

    you can use winscp to transfer via SSH connection.

    it's easy n secure to transferfile with SSH. :)
