    I can answer #1 but i'm afraid I don't know the answer to #2 ;)

    Traffic are the people who come to your website. Example: "How much traffic do you get on your website? I get about 300 unique hits (unique visitors), every day."

    Think of your website like a freeway, except when you get alot of traffic it's a GOOD thing. :)

    I fail to see how knowing the traffic numbers of some stranger's website is going to help you earn more money with Adsense??? :confused:

    There are hundreds of ways. Just search the forum. Start off by submitting your site to a few directories. Search this forum to figure out which directories you should submit it to.

    As a start yes, but you would need to put in a bit more effort if you want really big numbers and having the right content will definately help attract visitors.

    What you need to do is not waste time asking people in the Adsense forum about how to get traffic. Spend your time in the General Marketing forum, or in other forums devoted to SEO, where every topic is about getting traffic.
