Optimizing For Similar Keywords

In my niche I have over twenty keywords that describe the exact same thing. My question is how to optimize for these keywords. I'll use five of these as an example. Say I want to rank for:

    semi truck financing
    18 wheeler financing
    commercial truck financing
    tractor financing
    semi truck loan

Now remember I have over twenty just like these.

I want to create a separate page for each keyword but I don't want to have the following problems:

    duplicate content issue
a possible doorway page issue as described in Googles guidelines.

So, my question: How do I optimize for all of these keywords. I can't work them all into one or two pages. I can't optimize tags (title, description, etc.) if I do this. So ho do I do it?

    hi! leaseman,

Create separate web page on your site for each keyword, Follow the given steps to optimize separate page for each keyword:

    • Your title, meta-tag must only include only those keyword which you are targeting. Don't include your similar keywords here. You can add those similar keywords which you are not targeting as a separate web-page.
    • Write keyword targeted web-page, it is very tough to write content for similar keywords but show your best SEO writing skills here. This will help you a lot to get soon ranking.
    • Interlink each page with old pages.
    • Blogging & Article posting are more helpful in Off-page optimization.

    christinejoseph,

Thanks for the post. My concern is that Google will see these as duplicate content pages since they are describing the same thing. I've heard that doesn't matter but I want to confirm it. Also would they be looked at as "doorway" pages?

If not separate page for each, then one page for tow keywords are sufficient. Write fresh content for each pages, making perfect internal links

One or two keyword in one page. it is impossible to optimize 20 keywords in one page.

Do not use the same keyword again and again. You can use the related keywords in your inner pages and the keywords with highest priority in the Index page.
Then you can interlink the pages so that the inner pages get a share of PR from the home page.
Then you have to do some off page optimization that targets your keywords with the help of Anchor Texts.
