    My website is at top 10 of google search result but no position at yahoo. Strang! I think there are several ways to have good result a Yahoo, any one please share your experiences

    try to use services which yahoo provides for example you can use yahoo answers to get a link to your site but you must have some reputation level . so this way check for all other services..

    I find that quite odd as well. I have always found that it is far easier to gain a high Yahoo ranking than a Google one. I think Yahoo update far less as Google but I'am not sure.

    Not sure how integrated Bing's engine is now with Yahoo's results, but I had good ranking from the usual on-page factors plus good links but also the number of links. It may of course have changed in the last couple of months, but Yahoo's algorithm was nowhere near as good as googs and the quantity of links seemed to have more impact than the quality - still, better to keep on the good side of google and let yahoo follow given the difference in market share.

    rank in top 10 google but not in yahoo, bing
    in contrast, top in ping + yahoo but nowhere in google
    Wonder they compete each other thus they don't want show the same result with their competitors.

    The question is that what they think about advantage for users..........

    Yahoo likes numbers. Not always quality of backlinks. Yahoo aslo likes keywords in the domain or page name.
