    I was thinking wordpress, but not really sure what's the easier one to use. I know that I want to be able to customize it and give it a more personal touch, any suggestions?

    Wordpress is good, if you want stacks of pages then in my experience you have to use a more powerful CMS, for example MODx. It's a bit more technical to get going however you can customize to however you want, much more than Wordpress.
