anyone can provide a list of .edu sites for blog commenting.. I want to increase my backlinks via blog commenting.
I have a list, I won't be sharing on a public forum which leads to them being spammed to death and eventually shut down. Google it, you'll find a few. Other than that, you can use Google to limit search results to only .edu or .gov sites. Create your own list and I'll bet you'll be much happier with the results since the sites will be viable much longer.
What I have found, is when you do find them and try to register with anything other than an edu email address, you cannot proceed.
You can use scrapebox if you need to harvest .edu links. However, I don't see why you will need to go with .edu commenting as 1. Blog comments are not very good when it comes to SEO 2. .edu sites do not have any preference over other TLD's
Its not easy to find .edu blogs especially dofollow and those who have it will not likely to share it in public because afraid of the particular blog might get spam and turned into nofollow. My suggestion is for your to find your own list of .edu blogs. You can use the following search query to get a lit of .edu blog from Google search site:.edu inurl:blog “comment†-â€you must be logged in†-â€posting closed†-â€comment closedâ€
Blog commenting is good if done with a related blog post. And you are completely wrong with your .edu concept. .edu has preference over other TLDs. If not people wouldn't have been bothering about them......
You might as well tell taht Matt Cutts is wrong because he was the one who said that Google does not give TLD weightages
