New to wordpress

Hi all,

I'm new to wordpress and just redisigned my photoblog. Therefore is was running on pixelpost, but due to the lack of new upgrades I decided to give wordpress a go.

This is my first attempt at creating a theme for wordpress so all feedback is welcome.

I would also say that it looks great! Some great photos and it all looks really well laid out. My only concern would be that your subscribe and social media buttons are kind of buried at the bottom of the page. I think it looks like there would be plenty of room to put them up higher, like in the header area somewhere.

@ajwalsh : I will certainly look into your remark... the reason I putted it low on the page is because here in Belgium I don't have the feeling people really use this media buttons... Most of the time i have the feeling that this is a typical webdesigner gadget... could be wrong of course

@bizjam55 : take a look at this page... you will find all you need to make the same slider or variations of it.

Nice photo gallery theme. But I menu font is not comfortable for me. It does look stylish but not easy to read.
