Is using tabs to hide content bad for SEO?

    I planning to make my long page in to couple of tabs and use javascript to switch the content. Is doing so bad for SEO? Will search engines think that I am hiding text?

    no search engine not count it as hidden text so you can use javascript for that.

    If users can see the content after clicking on a tab, it's not hidden content and will not be treated as spamming / hiding by search engines.
