I just need to know that what source is more better to get backlinks? Directory submission or link exchange?

Both are good sources, but link exchange is much better than directory submission.

 

Both are beneficial in their own ways. Directory submissions help build that overall link popularity that gives you the necessary web presence and relevant high quality link exchange enables you to be competent and sustain high position on competitive keywords and also enhances your pagerank to a great extent.

 

I think link building is the better way to increase the back link..Back link can also be increased with social bookmarking..There are different internet marketing software available today which can be used for marketing and increasing back link..

 

i think link exchange is much more easy as compared to directory submission...

It depends on the authority of the website you are doing the link exchange with. Getting backlinks from articles is an easy way to build links to your site, and normally article directories have a high authority. Focus on both getting backlinks from articles and relevant websites!

 

For backlinks it would be the linkexchange, but a directory submission may have more long term benefits

I think both are good to get backlinks. Link exchanges with relevant sites can help bring some traffic as well. Directories takes a while to approve links but you can get some good one way links from directory submissions.

I know people are saying link exchange but I disagree. The best link is a one way quality link. Articles can bring many one way links to your site. By doing link exchanges you are adding outgoing links to your site which takes more an more value away each time you ad a link.

 

What's your prefered method of link exchanging? Finding sites and emailing the webmaster?

 

Posting on DP and looking for reputable members to exchange links with always works.

 

For Backlinks i recommend - Social sites like Digg.com , Directory submission, article submission , buying signature links and other links on RELATED websites.
