nah, not unless you're unlucky enough to have google visit your site when it's down, and re-index the homepage to the maintenance page. this could hurt you, but it's unlikely to happen.

In my opinion, NO there won't be any effect but if you will prolong the site maintenance like let's say more than 2 or more days...the might be some damages in your Search Engine rankings

In My case every night website will remain close for 7 hours.
As we know that crawler keep checking on our website.
even my website is of 1000 pages, will seen as a single page at night.

So Will it effect my crawling, caching?

when you are doing site maintenance, why does it take 7 hours long every night?

Honestly I would not worry about it because you have been doing this on a regular basis so you might have just need to double your SEO efforts

Now with your question, will it affect the index count from Search Engines, this will really depend on your observations but most likely it will

What you can do when you are on a maintenance schedule, setup a 301 redirection to your Maintenance Page (maybe this can temporarily safeguard your cache pages)

Just do some testings and observe what will happen

If it does crawl the site whilst down, do not worry, just get the pages amended in the sitemap and when back online go to webmaster tools and resubmit the sitemap, this will result in you site being crawled with the new content on - quickly.
