yes obviously no need to submit any images to google.if you have unique image on your site then automatically google will crawl your image.

Do proper image optimization from above said tips Google automatically crawls your images also. Google crawler doesn't recognize the images without the Alt tag thats why this is important.

There is no site to 'submit' image to google/image, you have to wait until google index your web page and image. Google can't read image, so you need to add your key information to alt tag and file name of the image.
