How to set up a second domain?

I have fatcow as a host and I have 2 domains with them...

I don't know how to host the second one so that it looks like a normal site.

I have put all the site's files into a directory on the server.

Now what?

(I tried using "domain pointer" but it means my links are now firstsite.com/newsitedirectory/page.html )

I just want it to be Newsite.com/page.html

if your host using contol panel cPanel, you can use addon domain fiture, with this fiture you can put your second domain as a normal site...

 

yes with cpanel, you can find addon domain, click on that and follow the instruction - it;s easy just put the name of domain and viola
the domain is there. it will create folder with your domain name and just put everything in that folder regarding content of your new domain.

you go to ad min panel and sign in and host your site.

 

If you want to upload your site on your second domain than you need ftp access of that domain than you can easily upload your website. First you need to host your website with hoster.
