    Do you use forums to get traffic to your website? If so, does it work well?

    Forum posting is a great way to attain links. Post threads, answer posts cause a stir google will love you for it. As far as traffic is concerned yes you can get some quality traffic provided your profile website URL is filled out on your account and your signature is filled out with the correct keyword.

    Tip - Post daily on the same forums.

    Seems more like a philosophical approach rather than practical.

    My question: How do you handle SEO for a site which has a single site, yet has to show different contents based on the customer location, language selected etc?

    Basically that answer is a better way for me to say your question is too broad. This answer narrows it down a little but for me to answer the question effectively i need to know a few pieces of information from you;

    1. The URL of your website
    2. What regions you want to target

    As a quick answer i think what your after is Geo location in webmaster tools along with setting up sub domains for you website. e.g if you are targeting Germany and England you would have the following set up

    www.website.com
    de.website.com

    I would then research and choose some highly relevant and hopefully profitable keywords for each region. I would optimise each subdomain for the keywords in each region using onpage SEO methods. After I am happy with my keywords I would set up Linkbuilding campaigns based around the chosen keywords.

    If only I had a penny for everyone who "called" themselves an SEO expert ROFLMAO. Sorry, but if you go around calling yourself an "expert", it's a sure sign that you're not. Experts let their work speak for themselves. They never have look for work. It comes to them. They let others call them experts rather than "tooting" their own horn.

    As far as this answer for geo targeting:

    Why on earth would you recommend sub-domains? Each sub-domain will be starting from scratch building it's own domain authority, domain trust, etc. They won't be able to take advantage of ANY of those domain attributes of the main domain that are ranking factors. And any links that are built to the sub-domain will similarly not benefit the main domain. These factors are very important in ranking because that affect how EVERY URL on the site ranks for EVERY keyword phrase. These are domain wide ranking factors that are keyword agnostic. When you take the effect they have on every URL for every keyword as a who, they can have a huge impact on a site and its URLs rankings.

    It's almost always better to place geo-targeting versions of the same site under sub-folders like example.com/de/. You can still do geo targeting in Webmaster Tools by adding example.com/de/ as a site (yes you can verify folders as if they were sites) and then set the geo targeting setting for the example.com/de/ "site" to whichever Germany.

    Now, the German version of the site is not starting from scratch building its own trust, authority, etc. All of the German URLs will get credit for the main domain's trust, authority, etc. And all links to the German pages on the site will contribute to the trust, authority, etc. of the main domain.

    No Pal its unprofessional sharks like you that ruin threads like this. Its people like you that moan about decent guys helping people out that ruin this forum.

    Just go away and bother somone else. I dont need to prove me credentials to you.

    Plus you will not get any type of bonus from cross language sites. God im not even going to bite

    And to end that debate check this http://www.bestrank.com/blog/putting-end-to-subdomains-vs-subdirectories-debate. Which argues points at both sides. But in the end explains what the user was asking

    "How do you handle SEO for a site which has a single site, yet has to show different contents based on the customer location, language selected etc?"

    That says to me that the content on each site will be different. Also in more competitive markets could use the added regional IP factor that you cant get from just setting Geo location on a sub directory preferences.

    Yes of course well my favorite Social Media Sites are as follows;

    Article Directories
    Articlebase.com
    Ezinearticles.com
    goarticles.com
    sooperarticles.com
    Buzzle.com

    SocialBookmarking Sites
    Reddit.com
    Mixx.com
    Folked.com
    Searchles.com
    jumptags.com

    Ease of use really is why i choose these. Articles index quickly. These are just a few.
