Hey Guys. So I actually know what SEO is but I never understood a few things. Like SEO involves all the general steps of getting traffic to your site and involves all the methods of optimizing it for Traffic. But a thing what I don't get is: I met few people basically in context of Dedicated Servers or hosts. After talking a bit, I came to know that they work for SEO. They got Quad Core servers at 100% CPU usage. They got clients for it . So what kind of work is that ? Something that brings traffic to your site ? Or some Software continuously scanning all aspects to prioritize ?

I'm guessing you're wanting an explanation of SEO so here it is: SEO is an acronym for Search Engine Optimization and basically this is when you make changes on and of your website to get higher rankings on the SERPS (Search Engine Results Pages). Link building, writing quality content, article submission are just some of the things you can do.
Such software does not depends on servers, they must be doing both business(hosting and SEO). However if you want to know about SEO software then the best one is SEO Power Suite from link assistant. Even its free version is enough for single SEO executive, companies can purchase it though.
Come on people! Are you even reading the OP's post? He's asking why dedi servers would be under heavy use for SEO, not for explanations of basic SEO or software recommendations! @OP: They are probably using spamming software to post hundreds of thousands of forum profile links, spun blog comments, etc. That is the typical use of dedi servers in SEO and it is very black hat. And the effectiveness is very questionable. You could use the same amount of money you'd pay for those services to get a list of quality backlink prospects and pay someone to do manual commenting for much better results.
SEO suite is best for analyze info about your site with keyword . but also be aware from SEO software don,t try to submit link from it may be its possible that Google block you from its own search engine.

Oh Thanks for telling me it's black hat. Ok but what do SEO softwares basically do ( of course the white hat ones ) ? Some people say they do keyword building, ranking etc. But technically how ?
