It doesn't have to be display:none; Look at the example beneath, works wonders without display ;)

There's loads of way around it!

The problem is blackhatters are always coming up with new ways to thwart Google, eventually Google does something about it, but only once the blackhatters have had their fun

Sounds like a threat, isn't it? As far as I know I didn't do anything that violates forum rules so why would I be banned? And I don't give a damn if those guys from JoomlaShine even rule the templates world - I'm not working within that niche anymore.
FYI, even after starting this thread I did NOT report their site to Google and NOT going to do that. Next month or next year, I believe that unfair methods will be penalized by Google.

Oh you're really really bad boy! I will report you to Google, FBI and CSI: Miami. They will ban you.
You just ruined my vision of the perfect Internet ruled by Google. Outlaws like you will always make me cry...
    Just kidding ;)

I don't remember an announcement made by Google explaining that they're perfect. They're not. You have come across one of their vulnerabilities - mind you, this is the biggest search engine in the world, that's worth billions. This gives me hope that in order to build my own billion dollar company, I don't need to have a perfect solution. Just one that words better than the competition, and Google surely works better than all the other alternatives.

Has Google really failed to begin with? I don't think so.

Google has been fighting off spam and blackhat SEO methods ever since they've introduced SEO. That is one of the reasons WHY Google's algorithm changes from day to day. Google has never really won yet so they still haven't failed SEO and their fight against black hat.

You can either take Nilgesz advice by reporting them or just let them be.

This is a serious issue you're bringing up, lets see if Google responds to these black hat methods, Hmm, i think the Abuser is using all his sites to link to the main Joomla site. Fake PR is very bad for us in marketing section :(

Just reported this website to Google. A year without report was not enough to penalize this website. Will see what happens now.
