Is it possible to make $1 Million in one year?

There are case studies of 'children' aged 15 years old who are making six figures per month on some of the stupidest ideas ever - pencil toppers, Myspace layouts, etc... so yes, it is possible. However, winning the lottery is also possible, but equally not as probable.

 

I really like your painting. If I were very wealthy and I saw your painting, of course I would pay you 1 million dollars especially if you could present to me the meaning behind it. If you love painting (by looking at your painting it seems you do) Go for your dreams. As long as YOU believe you can do it the universe WILL send you the right people to buy it. You can do it!

$1 million for one year? I think it is a bit difficulty in achieving it. Of course, it may be possible, since nothing is impossible.

 

And are we talking $1m in revenue or $1m in profit?
It might be easy to make $1m in revenue - I could just resell something for $5 that cost me $5, but my profit would be $0
So making $1m in profit is the real magic. And that's just hard to do

Number 5, 1948 painting sold for 140 million, Willem de Kooning sold for 137.5 million, Pablo Picasso sold for 135 million and the list goes on.

Yea, these artists has credit behind their names but who is to say that you cannot create TRUST in some way so that those who CAN afford your painting will buy it. And if you sale one, think you may be able to sell another?

The whole point is to make money with as little invested as possible.

 

It is, just keep testing and testing. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, try a new method everyday until it works then automate and scale it.

 

I know for a fact it's possible, I've done more than that in less time. The key is to create a business and sell it on. Businesses typically sell for at least 4 times earnings.

So if you want to make a cool million quickly, you need to come up with something that earns 250k a year. That's less than 1k per day. 1k per day is pretty easy, and there are infinite ways to make that, including all those you mentioned in the poll.
