Hi, When I search my site in Google like Atcomaart.com so Google show result for Atco Maart why this happening with my site. I already put meta title in my site so why not showing my site with title in Google results?? Moreover when I search my site with " www.atcomaart.com " so Google show result with my site title so why its happening with my site ??? Please give me favorable reply for my question.
You don't have Atco Maart in your sites title tag, I'd say that the reason its showing that and not what you have is that you haveway to many words in your title and Google has decidided to ditch that and go with what it sees on the site and from the anchoprs of incoming links.
I have the exact same problem with my site and it is not to many words in the title my title is exactly 69 characters and displays fully on most search queries. my title is Maine Hyundai GMC Buick Cadillac Kia Infiniti BMW|Used Cars Bill Dodge if i search for anything this is what comes up except if i search for bill dodge auto group in which case it shows bill dodge auto group for the title. I don't mind this as the web address is billdodgeautogroup.com and the company name is bill dodge auto group. as we are a local company its almost better this way. but i have no idea why it happens. always have been curious as to the cause though.
It's been a while since I've worried about title length, but if I remember correctly the recommended maximum is 60 characters for your title and 160 characters for your META description.
no i believe 70 is the recommended limit. and my title is never truncated just replaced completely the words auto group are not even in my title
The reason for your problem is on page optimization that are not done well. You should include your highest priority keyword(which are most probably your site name) in to the title tag. And only include maximum of two titles which not only works well with Google but also looks good instead of that lengthy title tag.
what do you think is the problem with mine then as i know this is not it yet displays the same results
the reason behind this is that Google is showing result from ODP (Open Directory Project ) results. in short your website is listed in dmoz.org and Google takes the title given in the dmoz listing to show up in Google's result pages. You can find the solution to it from one of my blog post.. http://www.georgescifo.com/2009/11/...information-from-open-directory-project-dmoz/ . I have tried this for few of my websites and it is working fine with me..Hope it works fine for you also..
