Make your title catchy and write some original content using h tags and I am sure you will get top ranking again.

A web site ranking depends on the web site title, description, back links and many other important factors. Since you have changed your web site description, it normal and expected that your website ranking will drop. Continue working and promoting your web site and you will gain back your web site ranking.

If you have monitored the ranking position for any keyword, then it is easy to understand where it went wrong.

But, if you want to get back to normal 170 UV position, change back to previous descriptions in meta tags.

Changing meta title does effect your ranking but meta description will not.

So, the next time when you plan to change meta details, please don't edit meta title.

this may be because of Google dance or may be you are loosing your quality back links. Keep building on with quality back links for your website

It may be because of changes in your description but this is not Google dance.
Google Dance simply means changes in your web pages PR.Increase or decreases on page rank of a web page is due to Google dance because Google vary all the back links and their quality after a short period and then initialize a PR for your web page and That Is Google Dance.

I do not think it is because of your description. It map be possible that your previous description can attract more users but not too much difference ,,,

Guys I need advice badly. I have a site with good SERP for its main keyword. The title of my site has three main keyword phrases and it wasn't changed for quite a while (a couple of years). Now I want to edit the title tag by swapping places of two of the title keyword phrases. Ex.: it is now "eBook Store | Online eBook Shop, Download eBooks". My main target keyword is "eBook Store", I'm not gonna change it. I want my title to look like this: "eBook Store | Download eBooks, Online eBook Shop". I believe this will improve my ranking for "Download eBooks". But I'm afraid this can also lead to general SERP drop as I've seen a ton of precautions about even touching a title tag.
Any ideas on this? Maybe similar personal experience?

Use the keywords that you use in previous decription in the new description also. It may be a temporary change. You will get back your traffic.
