This is a quick video I just put together outlining a formula that I use to knock out a decent 400 word article in 15-20 minutes. It works well and produces some interesting articles. Please enjoy, and if anyone gives it a shot let me know how you make out. Hope you like it.

Great video that explains a very simple way to knock out informative articles. I have used a variation of this, and I have received over 13K articles views this year alone....

But don't forget the very end; the resource box is what drives your traffic. You have to give the reader a reason to click on your link, so really focus on a great resource box.

In my case, I write the resource box first then work on the article...

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I find article marketing to be one of th ebest ways to make Clickbank sales. I've currently got more than 200 article spublished on several directories and I usually make 2-3 sales every day. My best day was 5 sales and I made $178 that day.

I agree; people do not give article marketing the weight it deserves. And not only that, but I also turn my articles into videos, and package some of them up as PLR.

I am just now starting to get some CB sales as well.

Good post overall; and thanks for the CB results. That may get some people a little more motivated....

So you just create articles on the same products and send to article directories?

The thing is how do you find the best and most reliable products to promote....

I stay away from all of the huge niches like internet marketing, weight loss, make money from home, quit smoking, get your ex back, etc.

Instead, I promote a lot of health products like child anxiety, psoriasis, constipation, etc. I have a great child anxiety product I promote that pays a $66 commission. 2 of those in one day and I've made $132 right off the bat. I've done that several times.

As a metter of fact, I had 2 sales from that yesterday and one today. I've actually had a real good week this week as I've made almost $700.

The key is to find a good niche that you can compete in and then find a product that pays $40 or more per sale and submit 2-3 articles every day. You also have to do keyword research. That is absolutely HUGE!

As for the products I pick, they have to have great sales pages and be good products. If I'm going to promote a product, I'll always get a copy first and go through it inside and out. If I don't like it, I won't promote it.

I can get most of them for free just by writing to the vendor and letting them see my Ezine Articles profile to let them see how many articles I write. If they know you are a serious article marketer, most of them will give you a review copy. If not, just buy it with your own affiliate link and get a 50% or 60% discount.

I also have email lists that I market to. Those are the ones that I market internet marketing stuff too. I'll also knock out 2-3 internet marketing articles per week with links to my squeeze pages so I can build my list that way.

Good thread! Article marketing is powerful enough if done right. For starters you should first make a hub on hubpages, because most of the big article directories don't allow direct linking to your affiliate link.

I was on another forum and there was a thread about HubPages and whether they still work.

Personally, I do that and still use HubPages, and start a small link wheel that is targted on the particular keyword.

But HubPages can be replaced with Squidoo or any other Web 2.0 site.

It seems to me this format would produce a generally longer article. I try to write simple short articles for Ezine articles and a few others.

You say you use it and create 400 word articles.

Usually creates a 400-450 word article on the button. If you want it shorter, give only 2 tips and leave out the bonus. It's that simple.

Bunneh- Hubpages is actually still very efffective; but use HubPages/Squidoo in tandem with your article marketing... In other words, use a link on HubPages to both your site and an article... Or vice versa...

That's the basis of a link wheel...

Here's another formula I use for writing articles. when used in tandem with the one I outlined above, you have two easy ways to write killer 500 word articles. Enjoy the video!

Interesting technique, always having a series of steps to article writing and indeed to any online marketing technique is beneficial

These two formulas have always worked well for me. It's easy if you have a structured way to go about it. Also, the more practice you have, the faster you'll become.

Would this method work in terms of cash generation if say my link in the resource box was to my blog, which contains the links to the products im promoting?

Oh absolutely. In fact, it's been proven that sending your traffic to a landing page will get you more conversions than sending them right to the product's sales page.
