HubPages and Squidoo - Waste of time or good idea?

Hi All

A quick question.

Is there any point in doing Hubpages of Squidoo?

Considering the subpages are of no particular PR value, I am trying to understand what is the point really? Will I not be better off by just writing good articles, spinning them and resubmitting in different sites?

I know that Hub pages have no follow till you reach 75 - and I have a few that is closing 75. And hence is the question. Although the homepage of hubpages has high PR, no particular PR for the page where my hub/ article is on --- So how exactly will my PR benefit from this…

both works. squidoo lens easy to get page rank and are dofollow. For hubpage, u wil need to promote it first in order to make it pass nofollow link limit then u will get a good high pr from these two site.

 

In my limited experience with Squidoo, I find that it can drive some traffic your way. Last month my Squidoo lens sent me 200 unique visitors. That's only about 1/4 of one percent of my visitors, but it's still 200 visitors who might not otherwise have found my website.

 

Focus on Squidoo, in time your lens would get higher rankings and that would be awesome to point to your own site.

 

hubpages and squidoo is for use only for get visitors with both of them is very good for get visitors

 

Both hubpages and squidoo give traffic benefits to your site. Hubpages have even good google rankings. It is how you optimize your articles that determines how you will benefit from these sites.

If optimized in well manner, I think Squidoo can bring you a great amount of traffic. So build a nice SEO optimized lens and then promote it. Lens will become popular with little promotions and then enjoy the traffic towards your main website from this lens.

 

They are great for SEO and more traffic. Just don'y give up and push new and unique content daily. Make as much lenses as possible. As you know they gain PR fast and are dofollow. What else do you need. Get the work done and you won't regret.

squidoo easier than hub pages for get dofollow.. just focus make original content on squidoo than submit to social bookmarking. A new lens will be indexed by google within 12 hours.

Has anyone had any good experience with using compainies that offer to do this service for you, or like gathering backlinks is this one task where there's no real short cut?

 

Sometimes, I have seen hubpages appearing in first page of google search results even for those hubs that do not have much content. It seems that google gives higher ranking to hub pages.

 

Both are good. But squidoo lens is best, it is easy to rank...

 

I'm paying someone to do mine, I decided it was the best way to see how someone with experience in that area would do it, also I'll have something to base the ones I will do in the future, I will let you know how it goes.

 

squidoo does contribute traffic and link back to some of my websites.
its like listing in directory, but in great details and flexibility and allows you to put it the ways you want it.

i have few lenses that is in green status, featured in squidoo. glad i started them years ago

 

I found that Squidoo was a lot easier to deal with. The posting process at HubPages can make a simple post take multiple days as you thrash around trying to fix whatever evil the moderators are imaging on your site. Hopefully the effort will drive people to my main site: WannaBuddy.com and not be a total waste of my time.

Besides, I like the Squidoo dogs.

 

pretty good idea actually. I just did one search engine optimization article on squidoo, and i jumped from 12th to 3rd

 

Both are excellent and bring me a good, steady income every month.

Both are also very helpful for linkbuilding and sometimes directing traffic.

 

well i used to think that both are do follows..But any way they can both help to make money and backlinks...they are not useless.
