Quality backlinks ?

I know this might be a stupid question, but I see everybody recommending getting "quality" backlinks to improve my site standings.

But what exactly do you mean by "quality" ?

Is it backlinks from high PR sites ?
Or do you mean dofollow backlinks ?
Or are there some other factors that determine whether a backlink is considered a "quality" one ?

You have to get related backlinks to your website. Try to get links that are on a relevant website. Those links will give you the most value

 

niche site related to you is consider quality one, but then even so the technique you'll use to get to those site would be one aspect too

for me quality backlinks is relevant backlink form good PR sites and Do Follow is Better, but should not have more outbond links on the page, from where you are getting backlink for you site.

 

Find as much info about trustrank as you can. The main idea is that good websites don't link to bad websites. Google uses two seeds: good websites seed and bad websites seed. Good websites are government sites, educational sites and other well-known sites that we can trust. Bad websites are FFA sites, spammed sites and directories etc. The main idea is that good websites mainly link to other good sites. If a website links to many bad sites in the seed it also becomes bad with low trustrank.

Quality backlinks means getting backlinks from trusted high PR sites or authority sites that are trust worthy in Google's eyes.

So when you are trying to build links to your site focus on High PR sites, authority sites, .EDU sites, .GOV sites and all your links have to be relevant and related to your sites contents e.g if you have health related site get quality links from health related sites as opposed to any sites you get your hands on.

So directly it means that you need to have your site link in your competitor site, a thing hard to achieve.

 

Quality means that if your website is about dog training.... you don't go get backlinks from medical supplies websites/blogs. Therefore get backlinks from sites/blogs relevant to yours.

Quality backlinks means submit your site into high PR sites, Dofollow and niche. It will be great benefit for your site.

 

- First - any kind of link you get is good for you - even if its from a shitty website which is panalized from google . its still good for you.

Good website can help you . bad site cant harm you (CANT) its pretty simple as long as you your website dont link to bad website your doing ok. by linking to another website that would mean your vouching /voting for that website . if its a bad website and you link to it that mean you vouch - trust - vote for this website and thats bad for you. although this doesnt work the same way back word . if a bad website link to you -- nothing bad could happen to your website. so basically any kind of links you get are good ..

Now -- the higher the page rank of these links and the closest they are to your niche the better , also include to that if they are spammed with link or not - the less link these website has the more exclusive your links will appear.

Now thats basically the whole quality/not quality crap - but SEO is simple its all about spamming your website with links in the right way.
you can also make little websites with 1-2 pages have them with niche related to your niche and link them to your main website.
after doing so - start blasting these mini pages with shity links or links that arent very relevant to your content - in turn these links will pass there power to your website in a relevant and a better quality way.

If you want to get those kinds of links then you have to visit and do link exchange with relevant websites with high page rank.

 

To sum all of this up. You need high page rank and relevant source for a good backlink.

 

All of what you said are considered quality links. Though the other aspect about quality links is that they are done by yourself or are not auto generated.
