how many links will you get per day to make it look natural?

i have been working on building around 20 links back to my site. Do you think which amount of link is suitable to make it rank higher in google and looks natural on google eye?

 

Is it a new site? If so start off with 20 per week, then after 2 weeks increase it too 40 per week and so on this way google will see a steady increase in links not 100 in one week!

One of my sites has been extablished for 18 months and ranks #1 on google with over 30,000 backlinks.

I use a mix of article directories, blog commenting, social bookmaking.

 

30,000 bacnklinks for 18 months? it means you do 50 backlinks per day. is that correct?

 

I would recommend not to grow more than 10% per month of your total incoming links?
You may start with a few hundreds when you setup your website.

can i get penalized if i build too many links too fast and what would the penalty be?

 

yes, google may look you as a spammer if you get backlinks too fast, especially when you are in sandbox

 

As long as the link ARE natural, you don't have to worry about 'how many a day'.

 

20 links per day is little higher you should make it atleast 10/day if it is new site or blog.

 

You should increase your backlinks step by step. Just keep in mind that you are not following black hat technique for your site's SEO. It can be bad for your site in future if it is caught. There is no limit of building a link for a website but make sure it should be ethical and quality backlinks.
