    I have been doing a bit of research on Inbound Marketing, What do you think are the best/most effective inbound marketing methods you have tried or know of? Online methods as well as offline

    I'm constantly networking and staying in contact with real people, but wanted to know more inbound marketing techniques, currently I am using google adwords but chosen keywords are too expensive.

    SEO will take a bit of time to get started on

    Can you think of more online marketing and offline marketing techniques that have worked for you guys

    sometimes competitors can also give you opportunities, say they are occupied and forward their clients to you

    So i guess networking is the most ideal way, but what I really wanted to know was what are the most effective inbound marketing techniques. A list of methods would be nice

    For online inbound marketing efforts try this:

    - Ongoing SEO: You will need to have a website and do on page and off page seo maybe 2 to 3 hours a week for 6 months. I would hire a professional at first and then DIY as you learn more.
    - Paid search can be expensive but you need a strategy for it. You can also try Facebook ads as they are more targeted.
    - Use Social media to make a great impact of inbound traffic and build your brand. Twiter and Facebook are great.
    - Use Wildfire and Viral Heat for social media promotions and social monitoring.
    - Work on offline and online press releases.
    - Create a YouTube video that can go viral.


    This is for starters.

    Why not think about LinkedIn as well. Not only can you network; but you can really focus in the group you are targeting.
