How to Get Back Your Site from -50 Penalty?

Hi friends,I hope you all are doing great.Around 20 days ago my site was on 1st page for all keywords but all of sudden it went from 1st page to 5th or 6th page.I found it like -50 penalty.Now i am hoping for the best in upcoming 1 month.Please help me with the way what should i do to get back my site as soon as possible.If anyone have practical experience of -50 penalty and what's the minimum and maximum time a site take to come back?

How can you be sure when even Google engineers do not know the specifics of Google Algorythm...In any case, if you were penalized, by removing the reasons for which you were penalized, you will be back to your due spot. Only you know why you were penalized...

Just go to the Google Webmaster forum and you will see a fraction of the cases there of people asking why their traffic dropped. Many of the times, those were indeed penalties.

What you can do is go into Google Webmaster Tools and Request Reconsideration. But only after you determined what you did wrong. If you are not sure, try asking at the Google Webmaster Forum, there are Google Employees there who frequently answer questions.

When a site has 500 backlinks one day and none the next, that suggests a penalty.

It sounds more to me like you lost some good links or were trumped by compettitors, unless you were doing something shady I dought it is a penalty.

 

I had -600 penalty. My site dropped off the indexes COMPLETELY. It was placed in supplemental results.

The solution is to remove whatever made you get the penalty in the first place. After you remove the penalty causing content your site will regain its previous ranks within about 2 weeks.

 

have you changed your title tags and meta tags ?
I faced similar situation when I modified my tags and went down in 80 and 90s

I am still not able to rank for those keywords

 

Check your website for duplicate content and also check if you site is added to bad neighborhoods.

 

Only one way if you want quicky back for top ranking is use redirect for new domain. Redirect will move all important things (include keywords ranking), just.... - without penalty
