Please review my home computer help forum

I've started a forum for home computer users and am looking for some contructive critism for the forum and any suggestions that might help improve it.

Also, are there any best practise methods to get a forum like this going and getting people to join?

The forum is located at http://www.home-computer-help.co.uk

    Thanks.

Nice simple forum, but I'm sure there will be a lot of competition in this area. You'll need to peruse and post on other computer help sites to build up some credibility and then lure their posters to your site.

It's a nice, clean desing. You can kind of see where the banner changes to the theme on the right side of it, so that's just a little heads up ;)

How would you guys suggest I niche this to be individual to other forums out there then. I'm really aiming at the UK market but I want to provide a community for all. Is it simple enought for people to ask questions, or does it need a new approach?

It's hard until you get things started, meaning users on your forum. Lots of users. You could try attracting people by making some kind of contest with prizes where they could earn points for activity on the forum, referring members, etc. I hope you get the idea. Good luck!
