FF-Fan.com / FFDebate.com - $1000/month - Great Site For Sale Here!

Site Name: Final Fantasy Fan / Final Fantasy Debate

    Site URL: http://www.ff-fan.com / http://www.ffdebate.com

    Site Age: 15 Months

    DMOZ Listed: Yes

Page Rank: 4 / 4 (Hundreds of pages of inside PR)

Site Details: FF-Fan.com is the most interactive, most media rich, and most information heavy Final Fantasy site online. All content is unique, written either by myself or one of the various staff members. The site has a large audio/video section, wallpapers, screenshots, etc, all a huge draw. There is also a couple of very nice interactive features including our very well known character test (more on that below).

There have been hundreds of hours of work put into this site, writing content, creating contents and new draws, etc.

There are currently as least six new Final Fantasy titles being released, one was released just last month, and there are almost 20 titles in the series since the beginning. This franchise isn't going anywhere.

Traffic Details: One of the greatest traffic boosters to FF-Fan is our very unique character test found at http://www.ff-fan.com/chartest. This test allows users to input answers to personality based questions, then outputs code that allows that user to use the resulting image answer anywhere on the web. Sites like Gaia Online and other large communities provide constant advertisment and backlinks because these images are everywhere.

The site is well known, so more traffic comes from direct type ins and known affiliates then anywhere else. Some SE traffic, although ranking is just something we're working on now.

Revenue Details: Revenue comes from AdSense, ValueClick Media, and Kontera. AdSense ads have always done well, although I spent a few hours one day last week playing with ads and found that the site can do a stead $12 - $15 with AdSense per day. ValueClick provides one InVue, one Interstitial, and one popunder per IP per 12 hours, as well as a tower ad. The initial load can look high, but the ads are set to not show themselves to a user until at least 12 hours has passed since they last saw one, so there are no complaints. ValueClick adds another $12 - $15 per day. Kontera provides the in-text ads. To be honest, I don't like them, I don't like their ads, and I've been meaning to switch to Intellitext for quite some time now. Kontera makes $2 - $3 daily.

There is also the odd affiliate sale for FFXI gil (money in the current online version of the game), and the odd donation as well, adding a few extra dollars each month.

Link sales, when I'm on the ball with them, bring in an additional $20 per month, per link (usually 5 at a time when I was actively selling).

Traffic and revenue just keep shooting up. A bit of updating, some ad tweaking; every little thing makes a difference. I just don't have the time, and this is too good a site to let slide like that.

Staff: There are currently two news posters that post something occasionally. There are several supermods on the forum that do a great job. There is a weekly column writer for FF-Fan that writes an excellent column exclusively for us, and a very creative comic artist that does a weekly piece for us as well, also exclusively. All of these people work for free, and are quite committed.

    Starting Bid: $10,000

    BIN: $18,000

NOTES/B]: This is a big sale, and some people aren't going to like the starting bid, some people aren't going to like the BIN, etc. I'd really like to keep this thread as clean as possible, so please, only post if you are a serious and qualified buyer.

I obviously reserve the right not to sell if I don't like the high offers. I do have a reserve.

This sale is posted at other forums as well.

Payment will be via PayPal with verified members only. Payment is to be made in full immediately, and sites and domaisn will be transferred immediately as well.

If you'd like to contact me with any questions, payment arrangements, private offers, etc, you can get me via email and MSN @ , or via PM here.

Less then 5 hours left in the auction at SitePoint, top bid is $11,000 at the moment. This will be the last bump!

No, it's not. I do have a reserve, but I'm open to negotiations as we approach the 'final hour.' :)

I'm sorry, I meant to say is that a "SOLID" bid for 11K? Apparantly you answered and reserve hasn't been met. A little over what I was looking to pay for the site. Thanks for the quick reply.

To be honest, I don't know how solid it is. There is a bidder below that at 10K, and I have a BIN offer for 12K.
