A nice big tourer like a Honda Pan European or a Goldwing if you have to but that is quite big. BMW also do some nice tourers. What you don't need is something like a Fireblade as your wrists and arms will become very tired.

You dont provide a great amount of information any of the big bikes will do for long journeys on tarmac but if it is say across mixed terrain a big trail iron maybe better.

Suzuki's are nice but when you're going for a long run you need something as reliable as a wooden stove . And nothing beats a Honda .

I don't care! Doesn't means that you are a Honda fan then everyone would love it!

I prefer Suzuki and Ducati always! And that was my opinion!

Suzuki is better than Honda in my opinion, but it actually depends on the bike. Long journeys in bikes aren't advised though, I did it once, never plan on doing it again.

It's not just my opinion it's the opinion of two friends i got . Both hardcore bikers one's a bike shop owner and the other is a fabricator at another shop . Both got the same opinion , that when it comes to reliability Honda is on top .

And knowing bike engines I'd say that when it comes to long trips you're gonna need as much reliability as you can get . But hey nothing stops you from caring a few engine parts in the back pack if that's what you want . Honda and Harley have that in train loads .

They will beat hands down any bike be it Suzuki , Ducati or even the beautiful Augusta . No matter where you are traveling .

BTW : Did I asked you to care ? :p

Go for a Honda Shine. It's very reliable and durable for long journeys. However it is quite boring if you rid it all the time. Splendours are good as well but not as well suited for long journeys.
I personally wouldn't buy a Bajaj motorcycle. They have a bad reputation for unreliability.
