Do you find Yahoo answers reliable?

yahoo results suck big time! I can almost never find relevant info, even if it's about a yahoo department.

 

To be honest i believe that it all depends on the people who answer the questions and what the question is.

I use Yahoo Answers every now and then; but most of the time i am answering questions for people and doing my best to provide as many facts as possible and only adding an opinion if i believe it would benifit the person who asked the question.

Yahoo answers are sometimes ridiculous, and most of it should be taken with a grain of salt.

 

there's spam everywhere.

 

In most cases, I found good answers on Yahoo Answers. Now of course spam exists, but the spam is not voted as a best answer ever

I started yahoo answers a few-days back or still i don't get any satisfactory results.

 

There are few but most of the answers are spam they just do answers just to post their site.

 

sometime there answers are good especially when you can't find your answer anywhere on the web.

 

i agree yahoo answer is not reliable, its becomes worse as every day passes by!

 

I do not think yahoo is all that reliable. if i were you i would try ehow they are way better than yahoo

 

wiki answers is also a good site to get answers on various topics of your choosing.

 

Sometimes I have got a reliable answer to my question, but I mostly go there to answer questions and try to give a detailed and helpful answer.
I have noticed that a lot of answers are useless - short and tend to be a little gibberish, those ones are just done to can a quick couple of points

Yahoo answers is very good when one is making research on content to write about. You find some of the questions interesting enough to blog about. But for the answers it still worth it.

 

As to if Yahoo Answers are worth bothering with, this depends if you can put up with all those who just give short replies to gain a couple of points.

Possible not the best place for serious answers to serious questions, you maybe better of searching for answers using Google search or other search engines
Or continue to use forums like this to ask questions, hope this helps

 

I'm not really a member there just that it comes up in google search and mostly answers are correct , so its helpful for me.

 

3/5 questions I ask on Yahoo Answers get a spammy answer. So I do not think that YA are reliable.

 

it was originally a good idea, but has now been taken over by spammers and marketers, trying to use it to gain backlinks.

 

I relied on ehow more than yahoo answers

 

Yahoo answers are mostly just spam in my opinion but I have found it to be helpful sometimes. I have answered a few questions on their stie but I have found the whole site to be a bit overrated and in general ranks much higher in google than it probably should.

 

Its right that yahoo asnwers are very reliable and helps to gain too much traffic amd backlinks.
