Just wanted to know…. What do profession SEO use, firefox or IE. In other words, which browser is good if you have to do a lot of SEO work. Just curious to know what expert SEO use.
Browser itself´s not but FF is just an upgradable piece of software that helps your SEO needs as well (Chromedit+, Seo for FF, Flashgot, etc extensions...). On the other hand 90% of my visitors use IE.
For browsers, I really prefer Firefox. It's much easier to navigate.. I guess it just comes down to preference and whether or not your comfortable with what you're using. There are people who work much faster with Firefox... and vice versa.
yes ff is easy to use and fast so i will use , and this days there are some tools that really usefull.
I use FF, but it's almost like asking what email program SEO people use, or what type of chair they sit on!
I use Firefox for a few months now, looks great, has great tools, you can monitor your backlinks, ranks, indexed pages while doing other things.. it`s just great.
I use Firefox. The plugins and extensions (web developer tool bar, SEOpen, Seo for FireFOx, etc..) really make analyizing a website easier and faster than just looking at code. And the "Inline mode" for viewing the source is really nice when you are trying to look at one specific part of the code. Plus I have found that FireFox is just overall better than IE.
Firefox has some great plugins. Because of them it's better when you are doing SEO work. I use one called informenter to do all may directory additions.
It's been mentioned - Firefox has some great SEO extentions - here are some I find particularly useful Web Developer SEOpen User Agent Switcher Flashblock ShowIP Server Spy X-Ray SEO For Firefox MetaTags
I use FF. Like others have said, it has some good plugins for SEO. The one's I like and have installed currently are: SEOpen Web Developer If you do a search for these plugins, you'll find them. They're VERY handy.
neither. I use opera. everyone loves firefox but I don't quite get why. using the application the way I tend to use most applications, it'll be at 400MB+ of ram after not too long... but I guess it all depends on your browsing habbits. personally opera renders tons faster for me, uses less memory, etc. the only real downside is the lack of plugins to the extent that firefox has. but firefox is just way too slow for me to put up with in the majority of my tasks.
That is one reason to use Firefox. I like Firefoxs usability. It doesn't crash and lock up like IE and I can run all my windows together without worrying about going down to the menu to click my windows. Firefox is way better than IE but the preference is personaly yours.
I never used firefox, but after all you comets, I did try using firefox and I am just loving it….the plug ins are great Thank you very much everybody for all you coments….
