    I have a great idea for an iPhone game but have no idea where to start. What do i need to learn to make one? Java? How long will it take to learn?

    would someone be able to make it for me?

    I'm in the process of having an app made for me. Presently, apple reviewing it before it goes on the istore.

    It would cost about £300/day. Then it's matter of how many days it takes to make. An easy app approx 3/4days. The more complicated it is, the cost goes up.

    Just check that the software is for all the i-phones and not just for the new i-phone 4! Otherwise, Apple won't accept the app and you'll have to do it all over again!
    Mine is now live. Took 4 days and is simple and am going to organise a 1.1 update already!

    You learn Object-C, that is the language they use.. You pay Apple $99 a year, and you can download Xcode, which is their IDE, and you use Cocoa framework. I think Java you mentioned if for Android app.. another popular and up coming platform...

    To get it started, YouTube is your best friend. You should be able to make a basic app in one week.. but to make complex, interesting.. and original ones.. it takes a lot of time and creativity.. programming may not be the big hurdle.. interesting app is more about artistic, graphics, entertainment.. IMHO
