What Would you do if buyers runn off with your money?

Hey guys,

As many may have experienced already, some buyers just run off with your money and completely seize communication with you.

What do you normally do if it happens to you? Can digital point moderators ban their accounts?

Angela from www.hipandtrendy.net has basically disappeared with my deposit for a new site design.

I have her details on an invoice so will probably take this further

How many days since they last contacted you?

 

open dispute in paypal .. you can claim your money but it takes some days..

 

its been 15 days, but even before that she would only reply once every 10 days.

im not going to wait a month before taking action

 

ive esculated in paypal but that shut it esculation pretty much straight away cause its not related to physical goods

 

If you paid with a credit card, then contact them and request a charge back.

 

well just leave it to them, maybe they need it. bu that will be an experienced.

First as expected you must have opened a dispute in paypal against the money you sent to this person. Later find out if there are any more with you who have been doomed in the similar manner for similar domain/site. Then start the process of hunting this person down, by exploring all kind of his details over the net by the given email address. Try to request paypal for the seller details from paypal account.I even got the person's gf phone number while hunting down the bastard. Ofcourse I got my money back, but it took time, you also need to have lot of patience, my friend.
