Does social network site good for marketing?

So many internet marketer using Social Network to promote the products as well as services, just wonder whether by doing this still that effective? Any idea? Please comments. Thanks

As long as you have a targeted audience such as followers followers on Twitter and Tweet about products that are relevant to your average update, that is still an effective way to produce leads/sales.

Social Networks are huge asset's to any business in todays world! If people want more information to any business they will search it up online. You need to have the appearance that you know what you are doing if you want to sell anything, even if you truly don't - have lots of Twitter followers and become a part of every social network you come across! You need to "prove" to users why they should use your business opposed to others and have the appearance that you actually have some of the market.

 

It does work if you have a lot of friends in your social networking profile. Otherwise you won't get much benefit from it.

 

I guess in 5 years fecebook will be inhabited by companies, not by real people.

 

I not really a fan in the concept of social networking, but very recently got involved in setting up a couple facebook fanpages & put a related affiliate product with my link in the info section & then bought traffic through http://www.fiverr.com.

I know most of the traffic from there isn't targeted to your product, but for $5 it's a small price to pay for someone with thousands of followers on Facebook or Twitter, who will submit your link in their page for a minimal fee.

Facebook will work if you have a very specific niche or specialty to work with. Things like "make money online" if over crowded and most pages look like a continuos steam of ads. I wouldn't thing that would work, but creative people are finding ways to make social media work.

facebook and twitter are platforms where you can earn quick and easy cash. Social networking sites are viral so be careful when promoting your products over there as word of mouth spreads very fast. As long as what you are offering is great I dont see any reason why it should not work.
